COWBOY BUTTER CHICKEN LINGUINE
INGREDIENTS
For the Chicken:
1 lb chicken breast, sliced thin
2 tbsp Cowboy Butter (or make your own - see below!)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Pasta:
8 oz linguine (or fettuccine)
3 tbsp Cowboy Butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup pasta water
¼ cup grated parmesan
1 tbsp lemon juice
Fresh parsley, chopped
Red pepper flakes (optional kick!)
🛠️ DIY Cowboy Butter (Mix These!):
½ cup softened butter
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cayenne
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley/chives)
👩🍳 HOW TO RIDE THIS RECIPE HOME
1️⃣ Season & Sear: Toss chicken with spices. Sear in olive oil + 2 tbsp Cowboy Butter until golden (5 mins). Remove.
2️⃣ Pasta Time: Cook linguine al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water!
3️⃣ Build the Sauce: In same pan, melt 3 tbsp Cowboy Butter. Sauté garlic 30 sec. Add cream, pasta water, parmesan. Simmer 2 mins.
4️⃣ Toss it All: Add pasta, chicken, lemon juice. Toss to coat. Garnish with parsley & red pepper flakes.
