Garlic Butter Surf & Turf Delight

Ingredients:
2 beef steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Lemon wedges for serving
Directions:
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and sear 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add 2 tbsp butter and half the garlic. Stir until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add shrimp, cook 2–3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
Add remaining butter and garlic. Stir in parsley and spoon garlic butter over shrimp.
Plate the steak and shrimp together. Drizzle with extra garlic butter and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes:
Great with a side of roasted veggies or mashed potatoes
