I know there are all kinds of food related days and months. And while some may seem silly, I’m always for any reason to celebrate food!

Especially when that means celebrating a fruit that is in season.

Like blueberries.

I know I’m hitting the very end of National Blueberry Month, but luckily, blueberries will still be in season for a little while longer.

It’s a good thing, because everyone needs a good blueberry cobbler in their life. And this one is so easy, and fairly fast – you’ll want to whip it up for an easy dessert asap!

What is a Cobbler?

Cobbler, crisp, crumble – it can all get confusing!!

All of these typically start with a baked fruit base, topped with some sort of pastry topping. A crisp or crumble typically have a streusel or oat based topping. On the other hand, cobblers have more of a biscuit topping.

None of these desserts are very fancy, but they are usually quite easy to assemble, and bake up fairly fast.

Cobblers can also be savory, as well, although we think about them as a dessert most of the time.
